RDMSTM Telemetry Receivers and Receiver Analyzers
Airborne RDMS™
Quasonix’ Multi-Mode Airborne RDMS™ Telemetry Receiver features an extremely-sensitive RF downconverter integrated with the company's market-leading ARTM demodulator and bit synchronization in a compact 12 cubic inch flight-ready package. When compared to the competition, RDMS offers a remarkable 6 to 8 dB sensitivity advantage. What you choose to do with the extra link margin is up to you.
Airborne RDMS Highlights

Rack-Mount RDMS™

Take a 3-D Tour of the RM RDMS
At its core, the Rack-Mount RDMS™ Telemetry Receiver is an airborne RDMS repackaged, but that would not be doing this elegant machine justice. Featuring four high-quality color displays for configuration, control, and constellation / eye pattern monitoring, a full numeric keypad, dedicated function keys, a custom aluminum chassis, and an Ethernet-based remote client interface that simplifies operation - rather than muddy it - and it becomes apparent that this is no ordinary telemetry receiver.
Consider that most rack-mount telemetry receivers occupy 4U of rack space (or more), and weigh close to the equivalent of a boat anchor. In contrast, Quasonix' Rack-Mount RDMS weighs less than 10 pounds (in a dual-channel), occupies just 1U of rack space, and offers one or two channels of P-band, lower L, upper L, S, and C-band operation. It also offers an optional pre-detection diversity combiner, which is entirely digitally-implemented for superior signal fidelity. You can almost see the bit errors retreating in its wake.
Is this the new benchmark? We'll let you decide.
Rack-Mount RDMS Highlights
- Versatile Rack-mount Enclosure
- Custom 1U rack-mount chassis houses one or two complete receivers covering lower L, upper L, full S – or all three bands per channel. Quad-band receivers (Tri-band plus P or C band) are also available.
- True Trellis Demodulation in all ARTM Modes
- Provides true trellis detection in all three ARTM modes for optimal demodulation
- Optional diversity combiner
- Pre-detection diversity combiner offered with dual-channel configuration
- 6 to 8 dB Sensitivity Advantage
- A 3.5 dB noise figure coupled with superior multi-symbol trellis demodulation
- NEW! Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) Error Correction System
Rack-Mount Receiver Analyzer

How do your receivers measure up? Quasonix' new Rack-Mount Receiver Analyzer makes receiver characterization fast and easy. Automated testing allows precise measurement over many parameters and rapid acquisition of extremely large data sets. From bit error rate performance to dynamic signal handling, such as acquisition time and combiner break frequency, this is your new single box receiver analyzer solution.
Want more? Quasonix' Rack-Mount Receiver Analyzer weighs only 12 pounds and occupies just 1U of rack space. It includes two complete ARTM signal generators, four (soon to be eight) internal Bit Error Rate Testers (BERTs), and supports a variety of receiver and combiner performance tests.
Rack-Mount Receiver Analyzer Highlights
- Two ARTM Signal Generators in a Versatile Rack-Mount Enclosure
- Custom 1U rack-mount chassis houses two complete ARTM signal generators covering P, lower L, upper L, and S bands at power levels from -20 dBm to -141 dBm (C band available soon!)
- Internal Bit Error Rate Testers (BERTs)
- Provides integrated synchronization detection/timing and bit clock frequency counters
- Supports a Wide Range of Receiver and Combiner Performance Tests
- Includes a comprehensive telemetry receiver test suite including bit error rate, noise figure (coming soon), acquisition time, acquisition threshold, combiner/BSS frequency, and PCM/FM modulation index tests
- Fully Remote Controlled via USB Interface
- Plug and play - An intuitive graphical user interface runs on any Windows PC and provides manual control of all signal generator and BERT functions PLUS highly customizable automated test scenarios
